As a reminder to all
who are “looking for someone,” the PCN never shares contact info with
anyone! What we do instead is make an
appeal (either direct or publicly in the newsletter) to a person about a
party’s interest in getting in touch. In
this way the person looked for is in control of the connection.
If anyone has contact info for Capt Sam Duato, please email him with
Capt Horan’s email and desire to hear from him.

I just read a PCN death notice
for Ken Jegen on August 5 and then his wife Georgeann passed away today (August
9).
My wife (retired DAL F/A
Diane “Sam” Sampson) and I knew them when we were flying, but lost touch after
I retired June 2000. Ken was former Navy (as I was) and we became fast
friends. I worked up to #2 F/O on the 727 and Ken was #2 Captain.
Joe Turner was the #1 F/O.
The #1 Captain was Sam Duato,
who was Navy also. They both lived in the TPA area.
I am trying to locate Sam as
I have lost his contact info. I see no notice of his passing.
