Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),
CFI Renewal:
Well,
if you go through this biannual ritual you may usually approach the training
the way I do…..with a lot of gag reflex.
However, I just completed (successfully, I might add) the AOPA online
EFIRC and it somehow has had an opposite effect on me. Usually, Barb hides the guns when I start and
I am in a bad mood until it is over.
This time I got nostalgic and started to miss the good ole days. That’s right, I am starting to have a little
hole where little airplanes used to reside.
Maybe I will have to seek out a good club or FBO to get back on the list
of renters, because I have a hankering to get back up but not too high. Flying low and slow has its virtue.

Young
Aviators:
I threw it out there and even kicked off
a new High Life section called Young Aviators.
There was a little bit about me when I was a young aviator. Now I want to see your growing years. Come on send in some pics and a little bit of
the story when you were a young aviator.

Low and slow does have it's perks...you don't have to try to avoid a mid-air with Santa on Christmas Eve.
