Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),
R & R
Barb and I had a chance to spend some time up at the family farm in MI
and it was really needed and a great time at that. This world seems to be spinning quicker than
it did while I was working, and it seems to have a wobble or two as well. Sometimes the anxiety that seems to be so
high for all kinds of reasons just gets too much. That is where I was at. I needed to look at a sunset, work on a
mindless project, and sit in the woods some.
I don’t know where you go to get right, but my style is to be somewhere
away from the madness of speeding traffic, crushing crowds, and hectic
pace. When I am at a place like that, I
can find some solace and peace and have opportunity for a lot of things that
helps me re-center. You know, like what
is REALLY important, and what is not.
What is REALLY worthwhile, and what is not. What (or Who) is REALLY worth living for and,
and what is not. Sometimes I do not get
reflective until the end of the year when I find a quiet place after
Christmas. But this year, my moments of
mediation, contemplation, worship, and introspection has all come a little
early. Not expected, but very
necessary. With mind, body and soul in a
better place, I look forward to every day of the rest of this year. Thank you for listening to me emote. Even tough, road hard ole grandpa’s need to
open up every once in awhile.
A farm of beauty, sometimes hard
activity, and sometimes heavenly peace.
Mindless project.

New PCN subscriber Sign Up:
As you most of you know our PCN is a private subscribed to
online community. We maintain a list of
that virtually eliminates spammers or other online undesirables from joining
with a simple sign up procedure, so the applicant can be screened. I am very happy with how this has worked as
we can be assured that everyone on the 2670 member list is legit.
If you know of a pilot who wishes to join our community and
receive our notices they can easily and
painlessly become a subscriber for FREE by simply filling out the SIGN UP form. If a current member vouches for a friend and simply sends in their former Delta
position and email, I have always considered this an appropriate vetting and
added them directly to the list.
Thanks for helping the PCN remain the largest retired Delta
pilot online community and for helping keep our mailing list made up of all
legit subscribers.
