“Re: PCN - HL 255 Now Published and Available! Happy Pappy
Day!”
Over the years, these links have been of little
use. Tell me what you want to say. I will not go
to link ... after link ... after link...
LS
Editor: I have worked hard on keeping
information for our group accessible yet semi private. A flat out email newsletter is easier for
subscribers to read, yet judging from how many or your email accounts that I see
get hacked would not be very private. The
newsletters are published online and there is a link to your desired method of
reading in each notice. If it is too
difficult to click on the notice’s link to access the blog or the PDF I really
do not know what to say. It is my honest
attempt at controlling who accesses out newsletter. Now inside posts offered up by our group
there is often times a link to a site or article. It would be too difficult to eliminate those
links. If an interested party has a interest
in a post and there is a link, well, then I guess you have to click it. Hope that helps.

Retraction on Truman’s Letters: I want to thank Kenneth for
straightening me out on the post I shared.
I was suspicious but didn’t take the time to verify the post so it was
published in the humor section. But as
you can see from Kenneth’s correction that was a mistake. I apologize.

Subject: bogus harry truman political correct post
Was this supposed to be a joke?
I guess since it was located in
your "Humor/Sobering or Fun” section it may be considered appropriate.
However, the post claims these to be completely accurate and historical
telegrams which, of course, they most emphatically are not. The clues are in
the language; “politically correct” and “mainstream media” were not
terms to be found in the lexicon in 1945. As an aside, I was actually
quite surprised that you would publish and find humor in this
offensive racist screed, considering your Christian values.
Thanks for your kind attention.
