Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),

PC Again:
Well, PCN, I am currently in training for my annual PC.  Yep, some of us still get these things but the “thrill up my leg” is starting to run out.  Found some down time and was able to put this issue together.  Hope your Spring is going super!

PCN & DP3:
RE: 2015 Spring Contribution
Every year I get some who mistakenly attribute the PCN with the role of the DP3.  I guess 3 letter acronyms sometimes get blurry as to who is who.  Just as a reminder, the PCN is a totally FREE service that has at its core and goals communication and connection with the largest community of Delta pilot professionals on the web.

The DP3, however, legally represents Delta retired pilots and is involved in a worthy legal pursuit of re-gaining lost earned benefits to its large group of Delta retired pilots and therefore they (and the legal team) are supported by regular monetary contributions.   The “2015 Spring Contribution” is a plea from the DP3 to its honor roll members.  Please mail in you support and keep your place in that fight.

As for the PCN, you owe nothing and never will!

For any veteran who has served day one in a combat theatre, they are eligible for a pension from the VA totaling up to $2085/mo. for a vet and spouse when living in assisted or skilled nursing home.  As I previously mentioned, I applied for this benefit for my 93 year old WWII Nightfighter pilot father, and we got the award!  We are very grateful for this extra money as we just moved my mom and dad into an assisted living facility.  If you are interested in more information about this little know about benefit for yourself, a friend or relative, please see these couple of sites for starters:
