I flew the same sky's as these esteemed gentlemen, but was very fortunate not to join them....I had dinner with an Air Force Lt Johnson one night in Dec 71 at the O Club in Udorn, he was in the Hanoi Hilton the next night......Denny

 This is a great video of our military guys who were held in North Vietnam prisons. 
I had never seen this before and I had no idea how these guys felt all these years about Nixon.

Video runs 3:44.   For sure go full screen.......this footage is of the
" slot man" in the Diamond formation.......toughest flying due to wingtip
vortices, etc......when he "smiles", he is pulling some serious positive/
negative "g" forces...

Notice the rest of the formation in the Pilot's reflective goggles!

Hainan Airlines (HNA) announces B737/747/757/767/777 to B787 transition program.

Captain Requirements: B-787 (Non-Rated)

Hold a current and valid ATPL with a valid type rating on B-737, B-757, B-767, B-777 aircraft including an instrument rating (no limitations);

4,000 hours Total Time, with 500 hours PIC on B-737, B-757, B-767, B-777;

Last flight must be within previous six (6) months

Current Proficiency Check

ICAO English Level IV (4) or Above;

Hold a valid First Class or equivalent issued by an ICAO member state;

Be age 54 or younger (unless specifically approved by Hainan Airlines);

No history of aircraft incidents or accidents (Notarization of document is required);

No history of criminal penalty or criminal offense. (Notarization of document is required)

General Contract Terms:

Contract Term (Duration): 3 years

Accommodation Allowance1: $1,500.00 USD for Local Rotation

$1,000.00 USD for all other Rotations

Transportation Allowance2: $500.00 USD per month

Insurance: Local Rotation: Pilot & Family covered

All Other Rotations: Pilot covered

Education Allowance: Local Rotation: Hainan will provide tuition for up to
two children at international school at Pilot’s base.

Travel Benefits: Passes are provided for Pilot and Pilot’s immediate
family on Hainan Airlines flights.
Pilot is responsible for taxes and associated fees.
