As a reminder to all who are “looking for someone,” the PCN never shares contact info with anyone!  What we do instead is make an appeal (either direct or publicly in the newsletter) to a person about a party’s interest in getting in touch.  In this way the person looked for is in control of the connection.

Subject: replacing lost souvenir

Would you consider circulating this for me?

In the late 80’s Delta gave all DC-8 pilots a souvenir of a compressor blade in a nice plaque.  The blade was from a JT3D that had been retired after 6000 hours of flight.  I had sent it to my son for his collection and someone saw fit to open the package and remove the blade but left the plaque in the package.  Anyone who might know how to find a replacement for a stage 6 - 9th stage titanium blade from the JT3D, please contact me.
