Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),

Merry Christmas,
Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year!

Dear PCN,
There will not be another HighLife before the 25th so this is my last chance to wish each and every one of you the merriest of Christmas – New Year’s seasons you have ever had.  You are invited and welcome to view my personal family season’s greeting: http://sztanyo.blogspot.com/

3 Weeks:
Well, I had a nice slug of time off from work so I was planning a number of things around the homestead to prep for Christmas.  My mother, broke her hip and that changed a few things for us.  We have just returned from about two weeks in Michigan caring for the folks and situation there.  Good news is the 89 year old is healing quite well so we are all happy about that.  These last few days have been quite full and I simply haven’t had much free time for PCN matters.  Now going back to work be able to get another High Life out.

Snowblower:
Now I am not wishing for a tough winter this year but I am itching to try out my new blower.  Over 25 years ago I bought a used Toro snow shovel at a garage sale for $100.  That crazy little thing, with a little TLC,  has blown snow for all these years.  It would do so again this year but since its held together with binder twine and baling wire, I thought it best to retire it.  So in its place a 24” Craftsmen (made by Poulan) that I think will handle upcoming KY winters just fine. Let it snow……let it snow……let it snow!!!
