Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),
200 Times!!!
I am
happy to have been around this long still serving one of the finest pilot
communities of all time. 200
issues? Heck, I can’t imagine doing anything
200 times now-a-days. But, on the other
hand, I am proud to have been a part of keeping this community connected,
informed and sometimes entertained. All
of you of course realize that my job is really not that hard, it is YOU who
make this thing work. Without your
contributions and readership there would be no PCN and no High Life. So thank you, and here we go towards another
200.

Little Face-lift for the High Life Blog:
Most of
the Blog changes are cosmetic. All the
same links and gadgets are there but you may notice different colors, only two
columns and a few more posts on the home page.
I found that as much as I have tried to communicate that in the old
format we limited the home page to 5 sections.
Now I have raised the limit so maybe I won’t get emails stating that I
left out a contributors post quite as often.
Just try to realize that the blog really holds every issue since I
started publishing on the Blog, but you either have to page back or search for
earlier sections or issues. One of the
reasons that I went to the Blog format was the search ability and the instant
easy archiving of each issue.
Any
suggestions, problems or issues with the new face lift on the HL Blog please
email in.

PCN Review of Who We Are:
PCN Mission Statement - The original Delta Retired
Pilot Communication Network began in 1996 by founder David L. Roberts. The new
PCN is this original Network merged with the RSP managed by Mark Sztanyo, and
now has grown to large web community. PCN exists to carry on the tradition of
serving our pilot and Delta community and their families by keeping them
informed and connected through this completely volunteer communication and
networking effort.
The
PCN is a not a well funded big-staffed organization. Rather, the PCN is
an all volunteer not-for-profit collaboration. The PCN
is primarily a communication network utilizing email, our High Life Blog and the
PCN web site. As technology changes, the PCN will adopt other online
methods to facilitate communication and connection of our community.
