Blog Tip Reminders:
Blog ARCHIVE and section SEARCH functions are powerful:
You have all been to many websites and some that are related to our career where there is an incredible amount of files and information but listing past issues or searching for titles or section keywords search are not possible.  The very reason that I decided to move the High Life and our Flown West sites to a blog format was because of these powerful feature.  Simply visit the left column of the blog and note that there is a “Blog Archive” element.  Also note that if you place a title or section name in the search box you will get a listing.  Further down below, you will see a section by section listing.  Should you only be interested in say insurance, than you can click on that section and all items ever published for that subject will be sorted.

Only 5 of many sections on front page:
Please remember that the blog is like a magazine and it has a front page which only shows the last 5 sections, followed by more.  In order to get to other and earlier sections just click on “OLDER POSTS” at the bottom of the page.  Generally speaking each issue of the High Life has between 10 and more sections published.  In order to see the second set of 5 sections you must click on the “Older Posts” link at the bottom of the front page.  Thank you.

Comments about a colleague who has flown west:
I have had people comment about a fellow pilot that they really wanted others to know about.
The best way you can honor your colleague is to make a “comment” under his’ or her’s posted Flown West notice.  This will be archived and others will be able to view any positive comments made.

Both Blogs (High Life) and (Flown West) have been optimized for mobiles.  Please view and bookmark both of our blogs on your smart phone.

I was one of the retirees that was a dues paying DP3 member in good standing that was ejected from DP3 because I was classified by PBGC as PC4. As a group, we PC4 retirees retained our own council at great expense and challenged the decision by DP3 to take actions that would have terminated my pension. I believe that type of hypocracy by DP3 leadership should be known by other members. This is exactly the type of divisive actions by the usual DALPA suspects that make me regret ever paying dues to that organization.
