Re: While there is a lull in the action allow me to share a
comment or two about our DP3
Let’s face it, we have had a couple of disappointments recently. However, I for one, could not be more impressed with the dedication and the perseverance of our current DP3 leadership. We all know that the decision on our appeal and the soaring eagles case results make the continuance of our fight difficult. We also know that our struggle is noble and righteous. I believe the DP3 trustees have demonstrated that they think so too. I’m aware that there was a debate about whether or not to continue with efforts to restore our defined benefit pension losses. But the analysis and the decision have been made, they (our DP3 trustees) will continue to lead the fight for right. I applaud them and wholly support that decision. It is difficult to see how we exit as big winners. But at the same time it is right that we fight for every potential re-gained benefit that was so unjustly taken from us. The DP3 trustees need our continued support because they have made the tough decision to continue with our fight for right. This fight is worth having. My opinion is for you to stay onboard.
