Fighter Ride
for the peasants.

This is from my C-130 Navigator friend, Bob Kirkpatrick. Folks, this is one fun ride!

Hector the Loadmaster sent this little beauty. Some may have seen this already, so sorry if it is a repeat. For the one timers that are not flyers, I noted that the speed was 380 knots + at times and as low as 250 ft off the ground. The landing was much like our C-130 360 degree overhead procedures, but not pulling 6 G's as announced by the Flt Lt. Also the landmarks go by much faster at the speed the RAF was flying vs the C-130 speed at low level. As one becomes accustomed to the higher speed, it isn't that big of a deal, unless of course one would have a reason for unexpected rapid stop. Bob
Low level as seen from the cockpit of one of the world's fastest jets: the front line Euro fighter Typhoon. This plane can fly up to 1,500 miles per hour and the video – narrated by Flight Lieutenant Jamie Norris. Enjoy.
