Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),

 Old times:

 I recently crewed a B767 with another former Deltoid and it sure felt like old times.  Everything got done, had a little fun doing it, and the cockpit was filled with competence and professionalism.  It made the 9 hr crossing sail by. To me it seemed ..just.. like.. ole times.  One of the biggest reasons I have personally missed aviation was working with the professionals that were our fellow employees.

In every line of work and almost every place of work you can team with excellent people.  It is, however,  always special to be part of a select group that is top heavy with the best of the best.  Today, when you travel and witness the new breed of airline crewmembers there is a marked difference.  I will let you be the judge, but suffice it to say things have changed.  Today on this flight things were as they are supposed to be......a competent crew, gettin 'er dun, with Delta class and style.

Ahhhhhh,  don't spoil this for me, I think I just stepped back in time!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++
