Room cost: Room rate is $129.00 per night plus tax. Rate is available from 14 Oct-22 Oct if coming early or staying later.

Parking: Complimentary outdoor parking

Airport Transportation:  The hotel does not provide airport transportation. From BWI, DCA or IAD you may use The Airport Shuttle Inc. Phone 1-800-776-0323 for reservations. In addition, Super Shuttle 1-800-258-3826.  Both offer discounts if you are staying at the DoubleTree. The Dulles Airport is west of DC and will take you at least an hour or so to arrive in Annapolis. You have to go through the center of DC.

 

Transportation Around Annapolis: The hotel van will transport you to and from downtown Annapolis for just the cost of a tip. It is about 5 miles from the hotel. While in town there are eCruisers and a circulator trolley which are free. The eCruisers are electric and will hold 5 people. The driver would appreciate a tip.

This coming Tuesday the 3rd of September which is right after Labor Day, is the first Tuesday of the month and time for the ORD Delta Pilot's breakfast get together.   As always, it is at 09:30 at Mama Rini's, 177 West Virginia Ave, Crystal Lake, IL or about 1 1/2 miles north of the Lake In The Hills airport.  Everyone and anyone is invited so see you there.  David W. IT IS TIME TO START MAKING PLANS TO ATTEND THE ANNUAL WORLD FAMOUS ORD FLY-IN.  IT IS ALWAYS THE SECOND WEDNESDAY OF SEPTEMBER WHICH IS THE 11TH THIS YEAR.

CAPTAIN JIM AND SANDY ADAMS HAVE GRACIOULSY AGREED TO HOST ONCE AGAIN AND BELOW IS INFORMATION FROM THEM ABOUT HOW TO FIND THEIR PLACE BY LAND OR AIR.

I WILL CREATE A LIST OF ATTENDEES FOR PLANNING PURPOSES.  IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL WITH THE NUMBER IN YOUR PARTY WHICH INCLUDES YOU.  GET ON THE PHONE AND HELP PASS THE WORD.

Fly-in at our house 09-11-13, morning till whenever, all welcome.

The best source for finding the place is AirNav.com and ask for 2LL7 (the strip) 
for the get together and 70LL for the heavier and faster planes.  122.75 for communications. The drive is south on I-55 to Ill 23 exit north, 1 mile north to Rowe road ,turn left (west), approx. 5 miles to entrance to our strip.
Would greatly appreciate any info on how many might be planning to come.          Thanks Much       Jim & Sandy
