Event - HL 183 (1)

Date: 9/25/2013 3:14:49 PM
Subject: Collectibles Show October 5th, 2013

The Delta Flight Museum invites you to its annual Atlanta Airline Collectibles Show & Sale on Saturday, October 5th from 9am-4pm. A variety of vendors will be selling aviation-related items and memorabilia ranging from airplane seats to aircraft models and playing cards.
During the event, visitors are invited to enjoy the aircraft and exhibits displayed in the museum. This includes a completely restored 1941 DC-3, a 1931 Travel Air and a 1928 Waco bi-plane. The Museum Store, located in a fuselage of the prototype L-1011, will be open as well.
Admission is $5.00 for adults; children 12 and under will be admitted free with paying adult. This year’s show is sponsored by Delta Air Lines, Delta Community Credit Union, DGS, Gables Engineering, Wings Financial, Color Reflections, Skybound Aviation and Standard Register. Breakfast and Lunch will be available for purchase.
The Delta Flight Museum, the official museum and archives of Delta Air Lines, is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the history of Delta and its affiliated airlines. The Museum is located in Delta’s first two Atlanta maintenance hangars built in the 1940’s. This is the one Saturday of the year that the Museum is open to the general public so it’s a great day for families and school groups to visit.
We hope you can make it!
