Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),
High
Life Delay:
My childhood best friend came into town
and his daughter was competing in a level 6 gymnast event so we went and that
forced the High Life to be delayed.
Thanks for your understanding.
She did great.
Light
Content:
Light content in this issue of the High
Life, though there has been a lot of activity on the petition issue.
I can tell you that the majority of work
is about preparing a well resourced dossier for Rob and Scott to have for the
potential future meeting desired. While
I’m on this subject, I could not be more comfortable with these two spokesmen
to represent our cause.
Help
Needed: (Thank you for
already receiving many responses)
For all who are interested in supporting
the effort led by Rob Moser, we need a little help. We are preparing for a potential meeting with
Richard and want to be ready. What is needed are hardship stories
caused by the termination of pension, the lost medical and the wholly
inadequate NQ claim. Now, let’s be honest.
SHOULDN’T A HARDSHIP STORY
FOR A DELTA RETIRED PILOT BE AN OXYMORON?
Unfortunately, the sad truth is that it
is not. We now have retired Delta pilots
that are not only not comfortable, but are actually hurting. Believe it!
I talk and have heard far too many stories.
So
if you are one, write your story in an email and send it to me. mark@pilotcommunication.net
Be succinct, specific and compelling
about how much this harm has affected you and your family. We will select the best of the best to take
into the meeting. Thank you in advance.
PCN
Website Home Page:
The PCN has a website in addition to the
blog where the High Life is located. The
website is where we warehouse most of our archived data. That link is: http://pcn.homestead.com/home01.html and the Retiree Benefits and Survivor’s
Page buttons have been updated.
PCN
Death Notices are sent to DAL and ALPA:
I wanted to let you know that as a
service, Carol forwards death notices, on behalf of the families, to the
company and to ALPA. But this does not replace the requirement
of the family to notify both at this somber time. The “Life Event” form on ExtraNet is the one
to be filled out for the company. ALPA
also has a notice form.
