Thanksgiving
Weekend!
First, allow me to send a personal wish
that in the aftermath of our entirely American holiday of Thanksgiving, I hope
that you find yourself full of gratitude.
We all have a lot to be thankful for. Yeah, I know, some of us have had a challenge
or too during this last year. Some are
still facing an uphill climb. That doesn’t
diminish all the blessings and good things that have happened to us in the
course of our career and in our lives.
I truly hope that you and yours had a great weekend and that now the
slide on into our December holidays will go smoothly.
The
Ignite Poll Inside ExtraNet:
I am sorry that I sent you to this
Ignite button “after” they had closed down the option of allowing us (retirees)
to send in as hoc comments. The reason
that was encouraged was because the management team seldom gets any helpful
info from our group and in light of their intention to alter the pass policy,
it seemed like a valuable chance. Some were
able to get comments added before they pulled the plug. However, again, I apologize for sending many
there a tad too late. If your interested
in voicing your opinion about the remaining 4 weeks of issues (1 per week) then
by all means log in and click Ignite.
The
PCN Poll Concerning a Petition Letter:
I wish to thank many of you for overwhelmingly
supporting the “concept” of this independent petition appeal to management. First, allow me to say that in no way would
any effort with PCN sponsorship conflict with what our DP3 is spearheading. Also, some of you mentioned your enthusiasm For or Against this effort would be better determined after you saw the
letter. My goal is for that to happen
fairly soon. The concept of the petition
letter was shared with me by a friend and I liked it. This letter is part of a developing and maybe
growing strategy that I will be able to share more about in due time. For now, thanks for taking the PCN poll and look
for the actual petition to be seeking your support by signature soon.
If
you stop getting PCN notices:
Now this little tidbit is for those who
WILL be changing to a new email address OR their current email changes its spam
filter settings. The PCN email notices
are mass sent and many servers interpret them as Spam or Junk. While sometimes you may agree, your email
filter may place our notices in your Spam or Junk folder or block us altogether. Many times I get a request from someone who
is already on our list and is indeed getting our notices sent to them. In order to assure that we get in your Inbox,
set all emails from @pilotcommunication.net as friendly fire. If you do that there will be no reception
problems. If you ever have subscription
or reception problems of our notices, please just contact me and we will work
it out.
Usual
publishing is Sunday night:
Lately, I have run into a string of
obstacles for getting the High Life out on the usual Sunday night. If you are a little flexible, as always, I will
try to get “something” out on Sunday night.
Another words, if there is a delay I will always try and let you
know. Also, I hope the obstacles to my
usual publishing night will be lessening going forward.
