Back in the High Life Again -Theme Song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Adw772km7PQ&ob=av2e
Lyrics:
Back in the High Life Again
It used to seem to me that my life ran
off too fast
And I had to take it slowly
Just to make the good parts last
But when you're born to run, it's so hard to just slow down
So don't be surprised to see me
Back in the bright part of town
I'll be back in the high life again
All the doors I closed one time
Will open up again
I'll be back in the high life again
All thee eyes that watched me once
Will smile and take me in
And I'll drink and dance with one hand
free
Let the world back into me
I know I'll be a sight to see
Back in the high life again
Girl, you used to be the best
To make life be life to me
And I hope that you're still out there
And you're like you used to be
We'll have ourselves a time
And we'll dance the mornin' sun
And we'll let the good times come in
And we won't stop 'til we're done
We'll be back in the high life again
All the doors I closed one time
Will open up again
We'll be back in the high life again
All thee eyes that watched us once
Will smile and take us in
And we'll drink and dance with one hand
free
And have the world so easily
Though we'll be a sight to see
Back in the high life again
High life
High life
In the high life again
We'll be back in the high life again
All the doors I closed one time
Will open up again
We'll be back in the high life again
All thee eyes that watched us once
Will smile and take us in
And we'll drink and dance with one hand
free
And have the world so easily
Though we'll be a sight to see
Back in the high life again
High life
(Back in the high life)
Oh, we'll be back...

Dear PCN (of over 2600 subscribers),
HIGH LIFES to CEASE
after DECEMBER! 2 MORE ISSUES – other
PCN services continue
September was nuts for me and worthy of skipping a newsletter anyway,
because October is the best month of the year. October for Baseball. October for Football. October for hunting and woods time. October for birthdays. And October for
vacations.
I will produce this and 2 more High Life Newsletters. My run is coming to an end. If someone would like to keep the High Life
going and the full …..PCN going then message me. In December I will retire from directing and Editing
the Pilot Retiree newsletter. The PCN Web site and the Flight West Blog
Memorial site will continue for the near term. There are some amazing colleagues and
aviators honored on our PCN Flight West site and one day I would like my own
story memorialized there as well.
Repeat Appeal for a PCN Dir
Seeking the NEXT
generation of PCN editor:
Dear PCN, I have been
running a web community with a website or blog and newsletter since the
90’s. On August 3, 2009 I merged my
community with the one founded by David Roberts and formed the PCN for our
retired pilot community. Here it is
2025 and we’re still together and I am still doing this.
I am
going to Retire from the PCN no later than the end of 2025.
I would like to hand
off the Newsletter and management of the PCN so someone who feels that the
torch is worth carrying on. For any
member interested or wants to learn what’s involved I would enjoy that call and
chat. My efforts will continue, giving it the ole college try at finding a
successor. At some point, if that
replacement Director/Editor is not found I will have to bow out. So if you may be so inclined please consider
this opportunity. It has always been a
pleasure and a honor to serve this exceptional group of aviators.
