Sometimes you plan a
trip where Delta has a small presence if any, so travel may be made through the
ZED system, (which I have used) , to do
interline travel. On TravelNet
click on “Other Airline Travel” and it will introduce you to our access to book
ZED travel on Other Airlines.
ZED Travel Eligibility
The
following eligibility requirements apply, however, eligibility is subject to
the terms of individual airline agreements.
Review the specific eligibility information for individual airlines
by going to myIDTravel via TravelNet, and click on view

You
may occasionally want to venture beyond even our vast network or, you may want
to have a "back-up" plan just in case the Delta flight you want to
take fills up. Delta employees can take advantage of interline agreements that
provide space available travel at a reduced rate on more than 100 other
airlines from around the world. There's no reason for you to ever pay full fare
again.

Below is the
NOTICE that welcomes everyone to the TravelNet page. Most of the time we CLOSE it and do not read
it but here it is to take another look, if you care too.
Flying NRSA (non-revenue standby travel) is not allowed on any Delta or Delta Connection flight on the same day, same origin city and same destination city in which a pass rider currently holds a confirmed reservation, nor is it allowed if that confirmed reservation is not cancelled more than seven days prior to the booked departure date.
Deadheading and commuting crew members should follow Flight Operations and IFS guidelines and directives for crew travel.
View Travel Alerts and Embargoes in TravelNet for an update regarding balance challenged flights, especially on the A321NEO.
