EIGTH ANNUAL FLY-IN / DRIVE-IN

The 2021 FLY-IN/DRIVE-IN is sponsored by Delta Golden Wings to bring Delta’s pilots, Clipped Wings, Pioneers, guests, and, friends together in support of the Ron Alexander Youth Aviation Program (RAYAP).
Fly or drive your airplane or special car to be displayed for all to admire. But, you don’t need an airplane or special car to participate. Just come and join the fun! Mingle with old friends and admire the cars and planes. We look forward to seeing you!
Your generous contributions will
support the Youth Aviation Program where young people learn to restore,
maintain, and fly airplanes.
RAYAP will
have a “Burger Bar” lunch as a fund
raiser in conjunction with the event to help “youth achieve their dreams.”
Announcements
will bring you up to date on Peach State Aerodrome, RAYAP, and Delta Golden
Wings. Harry Ballance will tell us about his award winning “Miss Scarlet,” a 1934 STINSON
SR-5A.
Sit in Dr.
Janus’ rocking chair! A distinct memory
of an employee’s job interview with Delta is Dr. Sydney Janus’ rocking chair.
His son also conducted interviews with a rocker in his office. The heirs
donated both of them to the Delta Flight Museum. However, the museum kept the
more iconic original but gave the son’s to DGW. We will have it for you to sit,
rock (or, not rock), enjoy, and reminisce!
In consideration of the COVID, this
will be an outdoor event and the hangar doors will be fully opened.
