U.S. Restrictions on Cuba Travel
On June 4, 2019, the U.S. Office of Foreign Asset Control
announced new restrictions for travel to Cuba. U.S. travelers who booked travel on or after June 5,
2019 are no longer permitted to travel to Cuba under the "group
people-to-people" travel authorization that has allowed Americans to visit
Cuba in recent years.
These changes do not apply to travelers who booked travel prior
to June 5, 2019 that qualified under the previously authorized "group
people-to-people" travel category.
