Subject: I.D. Card
Hi Mark,
I always look forward to reading
the latest PCN. Do
you know how I can get a new Retired Delta I.D. Card? Mine was so
old it delaminated and fell apart. Part of my picture stayed on the
plastic it was in. Thanks for any help.

Hi Mark
Yes retiree badges can be gotten. Basement of the Admin.
Building near the DCCU branch.
Have a good day Paul

OR by Mail ~~
Recently, I had a request from a subscriber about Delta
Business Cards. Apparently, some use
them as helpful ways to identify our former position.
I find the RETIREE ID BADGE more helpful. And all of us, who have turned in our ACTIVE
ID when we were perp walked out of the building, are eligible. As it turns out, I had one but it got
destroyed by fire. Yeah, I know it is a
long story, but it is gone none the less.
So there is a way to get a Retiree ID Badge from Delta ID
Processing. Which I am reapplying
for. If you want one, please click on
the following links to print the app form and the ID app instruction
sheet. Note: either provide a new pic or tell them to
use the last one on file for you. Note
2: Don’t worry about a supervisor name
since you are retired dept 030.

Subject: Amirican Optical (AO) Military Pilot Sunglasses
Are Still Available!
1430pdt 12aguust2019
I am a creature of habit and still wear American Optical (AO) Sunglasses which were sold in the Navy Exchange (NEX) system for many years. I recently discovered that they are no longer sold there and the only alternative is to purchase Ray Bans.
I rummaged around a bit and discovered that American Optical (AO Eyewear, Inc.), 539 Ashland Ave, Ste #3, Southbridge, MA, 01550; (1.800.777.1173) is still in business and will sell to individuals! Furthermore they offer a 25% discount for military purchasers. Yes, they are made in the U.S.A.
My primary reason to search out AO was that I only wished to purchase exactly what used to be sold in the NEX & Navy Uniform Shop. The Sunglasses are: "Original Pilot Sunglass (r), SKU COREOP, Model: Original Pilot, Frame Color: Gold, Size 55, Temple: Bayonet, Lens: Grey Glass. Total price for 3 pairs, with military discount, along with Priority Mail Shipping was $302.20.
Using Amazon or similar works if you carefully avoid copies, but AO is still the place to go!

Subject: THE HOMETOWN BATTLEFIELD
To all Patriots,
Today I viewed this 2014 video below and was moved by its
touching lyrics about PTSD and the different situations and the sadness that
war and pain bring to our families.
The singer is Canadian and yet performs his music for free
loving persons of any nation on earth. It is especially true here in the
USA.
Pass this along to those you love,
Dave
