I can accept registrations for the next week or so, but I need to get the correct meal
count in to the chef pretty soon. If you can get a room, I can add you to the list.
If the hotel says they don't have rooms at our rate, ask to speak to Denise Satorelli or
Ethan Spencer to try to get the rate.

Dear Delta Golden Wings members,

We have finalized the schedule for the annual reunion this year.  With all of the history of Philadelphia  there is much to see. Our anchor hotel will be the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport.  Breakfast is included in the room rate and they have complimentary airport transportation and free parking for the DGW.  Arriving Thursday we will relax and reminisce in the hospitality suite and get ready for a delicious Italian Buffet that evening.  The Friday outing is a historical tour of the former capital city of the 13 original states with several stops explained below.  We will lunch on our own at either Geno's Steaks or Pat's King of Steaks.  We are on our own for dinner Friday evening.  Saturday we will head for Amish country and end up at Valley Forge National Historical Park. Returning to the hotel we are on our own again for dinner.  Sunday will be the annual meeting  and we are on our own until the Sunday evening banquet.

(All  reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. If a guest does not cancel a reservation within
48 hours before 4:00 PM of the guest's check-in date, then Hotel may charge the credit card one night's room fee plus any applicable taxes.)

Thursday:

  • Pick up Reunion packet and take photos
  • Welcome banquet:  Supreme Italian Buffet, sides, dessert. coffee/tea ($45.00)
 
Friday Tour will include: Historic Philadelphia,  $50/person
  • "America's Most Historic Square Mile". i.e. Penn's "Greene Countrie Towne". This city served not only as the capital of the colony of Pennsylvania and the capital of Colonial America, but was the capital of the United States of America from 1790-1800.
  • Carpenter's Hall, where the delegates gathered for the First Continental Congress
  • The State House of Pennsylvania, better known as Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution were signed
  • Congress Hall, site of the ratification of the Bill of Rights
  • The Liberty Bell, America's most cherished artifact
  • Franklin's Grave site in Christ Church Cemetery
  • Betsy Ross House
  • The President's House, site where President Washington lived
  • Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continuously occupied residential street in America
  • The Franklin Court Print Shop and the Franklin Post Office
  • Lunch at Geno's Steaks or Pat's King of Steaks. Their specialty is "Philadelphia cheese steak"
  • Lunch is on your own
  • Then, time permitting, we will drive along Ben Franklin Parkway and Kelly Drive along the Schuylkill River for a cultural overview of Philadelphia. (we may even stop to take a picture with the Rocky Balboa statue.

  • Back Country tour with stops at Eil's Roadside stand with Quilt Shop stop.

  • Drive to Valley Forge Park.

2019 Delta Golden Wings Holiday Party

This will be the 11th year we have had a Delta Golden Wings Holiday party. We will return to a hotel venue as in years past.

Cash Bar: We will have two cash bars. 

Parking:    Free self- parking in front of hotel.  Shuttle service is available to the nearby MARTA station and Perimeter Mall. 


Breakfast Deal: Buffet deal at $15 for Monday morning.  (Usually $18.95.)

Hotel:  The Atlanta Marriott Perimeter Center has given us a group rate of $109 per night good for two days prior and two days after the event.
