Capt Hermann received a W2 for imputed value of passes for a designated partner.  As you will see by the string it appears that happens for yield fare travelers.

Well, look in travelnet under "my account" and you will find a menu item labeled imputed income. Copy of mine for 2018 is attached. They bang you every leg, so if you take a non-direct flight like PHX-SLC MSP vice PHX-SLC you will get two charges. What fun!

All charges are for my designated partner - we are not married. Being married must make a difference.........

Hey Pete and Jay,
This seems to be something new as you say and I have never been aware or received any W2 for retiree travel.     I think this is as Jay suggests is because there are pass charges such as yield fares.  I am gonna share this with some others to get their input.
Thanks for sharing.

Mine as you describe below is zero.
I suspect that yours are for your significant, non-wedded other!!!

Hello Jay:
I think that it results from non-reving with a pass charge added. Last year, I do not remember doing anything other than S-3B on DAL, which of course had a pass charge of nil, so I did not get a W-2.
I've infoed the kingpin of the pcn group for his possible comments.
