Misc - HL 304 (2)

A little “sensitivity” training needed for the PCN Dir
I shared a recent notice about the potential return of the HCTC and of course it is only effective for those younger than 65.  Well, in my attempt at being light I mentioned “pilot with younger wives.”  As Capt Skeeters correctly points out, some Captain’s have younger husbands.  Well, next time I will definitely be more sensitive for all those “spouses” out there.  Thanks Captain Skeeters.

Hi Mark!

**Sensitivity training alert! ** 😉😄

for retired pilots with younger wives”

Not all pilots are men; married to wives. Some have husbands!
I’d like to suggest that you substitute “wives” for “spouses” to include all pilots in your communications.
Thank you!
Aloha,
Suzanne Skeeters

Warren Buffett boosts stake in Delta Air Lines to nearly 11%

Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, has increased his stake in Delta Air Lines.
Berkshire Hathaway's stake in Delta ticked up to nearly 11% in 2018 from 7.6% the prior year, according to a proxy statement filed Friday.
Buffett's company reportedly bought 5,368,956 additional shares of the airline on March 6, 7 and 8 at prices ranging from $49.45 to $49.88 per share. The purchases grew Berkshire's stock ownership of Delta to 70.9 million shares, but Buffett recently admitted the investment in Delta resulted in a somewhat surprising outcome.
