Recent tax day memories:

Back in 2005, the local Chevron gas station in Seattle’s
Wallingford neighborhood converted their auto repair shop into a convenience
store. Their outdoor sign—once used for service promotions and store
specials—became redundant with the inside of the store already plastered with
signage. So the owners decided to have fun
with the outdoor sign instead, and the@WallingfordSign was
born. This weekly sign message has become so popular, it has become a
more effective marketing tool for the gas station than anything prior.

I went to the Doctor recently where I had to sign this
disclaimer. Pay
close attention to item 8. I kidded him
that the airline should have a similar disclaimer about the success of each
landing. Imagine!!!

So just how safe is it to
have a horse or a pig in the cabin if there is an emergency evacuation.
Is the horse or pig or whatever the "comfort animal" going to panic
and jeopardize what would have been an orderly evacuation. I hope
the Captain still has the power to say No Way!! David W. Skjerven
The airlines have gotten too
politically correct, but I think things are changing on the rules for what can
travel in the cabin, or I hope it is.
