this link about the Navy's C-130 Fat Albert. Thought it was a good article with
some videos. I found a few surprises in the 1st video- 1. Either a female A/C
or a guy with a "man bun" 2. Still using a fairly old attitude gyro
3. Still using a "flight mech" 4. Why didn't I think of a hula dancer
statue on my 767's? 1st video may a bit long to hold much interest. The others
were shorter and more to the point Enjoy-

Southwest Airlines
Application at southwest.com/careers is open 03/26 - 04/08 (requisition #2018-22733). Anyone interested in being considered for an interview will be required to apply to the open job posting and update profile at SWA.Pilotcredentials.com.
Applicants must submit an application and review their PilotCredentials profile. Review the "Pilot Questionnaire" on PilotCredentials, questions have recently changed. Hired 84 pilots in February and 168 year-to-date.
SWA has provided further clarification on higher education requirements:
Q: Do I need a 4-year university degree to apply?
A: Currently, a Bachelor's degree is a preferred qualification. If you state on your application that you have any degree (Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's), the highest level of education completed will be verified by Southwest in order for your application to be further considered. The degree must have been awarded after completing required coursework recognized as standard within the education community. United Airlines
Hired 41 pilots in February and 79 year-to-date. United expects to hire significantly more in 2018. Almost 400 pilots will retire in 2018. In 2018, 35 percent of United's new hires will be from Career Path Programs, compared to 30 percent in 2017. Verified by FAPA on 26 MAR 2018
UPS Airlines
Hired 21 pilots in February and 60 year-to-date. UPS will be sending pilot recruiters to FAPA's Pilot Job Fair in LAS on May 2. Additional 14 747-8 and 4 767 aircraft ordered, announced on 02/01/2018. This is in addition to the 14 747-8 order announced in 2016. All aircraft will be delivered by the end of 2022.
