Not even “officially” retired yet………. Well, yes I have flown my last flight and I am out of the cockpit
professionally, but my actual age 65 day is the 19th, yet I am
busier than a one armed paper hanger.
Knee deep in a laundry remodel for son #3, taking son # 2 in for an
appendectomy, watching grandkids almost every day, planning a vacation to
Israel, setting up for this year’s Fall
hunting adventure………….when can take a
breath? This retirement thing is
not what one often thinks it is.
However, I have gotten some well wishes from a number of you and here
below is a small sampling. I wish to thank each and everyone of you for
the kind words and well wishes.

I can’t believe I have been retired for close to two
years. Seems like it has been a month. I still look up at the
contrails. I miss the people and the job (not the commute).
