Christmas Party
Delta Golden Wings Folks:
We have everything lined up for another great Christmas Party.
The party will be at the Dunwoody Ravinia Crowne Plaza just north of Atlanta.
We
have hotel rooms for those of you that are out of town or local and would like
to stay overnight or longer at the Ravinia Crowne Plaza at a special rate of
$95. This is something to
consider for you rather than driving back home. You can come in early and do a
little shopping at Perimeter Mall, sleep in the next morning.
In 2016, we had over 175
folks signed up for the party and over 47 rooms reserved. A list of your
friends that have signed up already for 2017 is at the end of this email.

2017 Delta Golden Wings Christmas Party

Dress: Most guys are
wearing a coat and tie but Business Casual works as well
Time: 5:30pm
Social hour-drinks and appetizers
Dinner: 7pm
Cost:
$42/person: salad, chicken, beef or
veggie plate, two sides, dessert, coffee, tea, cola (tip & tax included)
Cash Bar: beer $6; 4 oz. glass wine $7; mixed
drink $8 (tip and tax included). Cash bar is open from 5:30pm to at least 10pm.
Parking: Self-parking on the lower
level of the hotel is free. They do have valet parking; the cost is about $7.
Hotel Room: $95 at the Dunwoody Crowne Plaza
Ravinia. This rate is good for three days before the event and three days after

History: This is the 9th year we have had a
Dunwoody Delta Golden Wings Christmas party. This is the fifth year we have
been at the Ravinia Crown Plaza in Dunwoody. We had a great turn out last year
and hope to have an even bigger group of friends this year.
If
you are in the Atlanta local area or if you are coming from out of town and
would like to stay for a night or so, we have a really good hotel rate of $95
at the Ravinia Crowne Plaza. This rate is good for three days before the event
and three days after the event.
Having
a nice rate on the rooms has given us the opportunity to open the invitation to
all of the Delta Golden Wings membership. Caution on the rooms:
we do not have a guarantee on the number of rooms, so if you are planning on
coming and would like to have a room, go ahead and reserve it. We had about 47
rooms last year used by Delta Golden Wings folks.
If
you are doing some Christmas shopping, Perimeter Mall is right across the
street from the hotel. MARTA (train from Dunwoody, Atlanta and the Airport) is
just two blocks away and the hotel has free service to Perimeter Mall and the
MARTA Dunwoody station.
MARTA
will quickly and cheaply get you to and from the airport and downtown Atlanta.
Atlanta
has sporting events, shopping, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium (world’s
largest), the new College Football Hall of Fame and many other places of
interest.
We
