we all could use a review about these issues.

card:

Mark;
I am still NOT getting an annual fee notice from AMEX. Never have. That being said, I mainly use the AMEX card for electronic purchases. There may be a purchase limit [$500?] and a warranty limit [2 years?]. But the card doubles the warranty if you purchase an electronic item with a normal warranty limit up to 1 year. For most purchases I use my DCCU Visa cards[debit & credit]. Again, no annual fee & I can use the DCCU Reward Points for travel. The big advantage for me is that the Reward Points can be used on several airlines, whereas, I believe, with the AMEX card you are tied to Delta. I pick the departure dates and destinations and it will list different airlines and the Reward Points necessary. Delta is not always the cheapest in terms of points necessary, at least on the DCCU site. It also shows how much cash it will cost if you want to use less points. It has served me well over the years. Maybe there is something I'm missing by not using the AMEX card. Thought you'd like to know.
