Today’s Edition:
Sometimes putting together the issue
conflicts with things that I need to be doing and sometimes I approach the task
as a chore. But I got to tell you that
today I am happy to be working on it, because I am glad and proud to know so
many of you. I have often told you this
but it is something I harbor deep inside; the Delta flight compliment was the
best group of people I have ever known.
You know I believe my father’s WWII generation was the greatest. But the type of people that were in the pilot
seats for Delta, during my tenure, are a close 2nd. I found the same kind of character and metal
that my dad’s generation had in so many…. many of you. So today as I publish this issue from a very
cold and wet northern Japan, I relish the fact that I had a chance to be a part
of this group. And further, I count it a
privilege to serve the group in the small way that I can. Have a
wonderful summer!
