I can't vouch for any of this but assume it's accurate and it is
interesting.
Staggering numbers.
If you are from this time or around it, you will find the read and statistical information mind bending.
Most folks under 75 will probably be amazed at this statistical story. Perhaps most attention-getting part of it all, is the lack of actual flight experience of the pilots and navigators. Can you imagine today... a 1000 - bomber Air Raid...? And most of those crewmen were aged under 25...!
