In accordance with new TSA rules, effective July 27 all airline employees traveling as passengers for either leisure or company business reasons must undergo TSA screening as regular passengers. Crewmembers may still use Known Crewmember access lanes where available.

This means employees at airports that provide special employee access points such as turnstiles, cheese-graters, etc. may NOT use these access points when traveling.

The new TSA rule also requires that employees and their carry-on items be re-screened prior to traveling if they access an airport area that is not open to regular passengers (such as the ramp area, secured office areas, etc) after being screened

Check-In Notice for Nonrevs Traveling on August 1

An automated upgrade is planned to take place at 1:45 a.m. ET on Aug. 1 that could affect a nonrev’s standby priority.  Due to the automated upgrade, it is recommended that all nonrevs listed for flights on Aug. 1 check-in for their flight after 2:30 a.m. ET. 
Once the upgrade is complete, nonrevs can check-in up to 24 hours in advance.
