Memorial Day and long
weekend:
While the weekend is usually looked forward to and
enjoyed by many, Memorial Day is still a day for pause and remembrance for the
many who paid the ultimate sacrifice. May this upcoming holiday be a very
meaningful one to you and yours.
Delta Museum:
While in Atlanta for
some training I had a little time to kill on a Wednesday so I walked down ole
Virginia Ave to the Delta front gate and was allowed to proceed to the
museum. Since it was Wednesday, the
museum was closed but after a little observing the set up going on was for an
evening event so I politely asked if I could make a quick walk through and was
allowed. Yes, the items, visuals and memories were all strong and the museum is
a nice touch. Here below are a few
images that I’m sure will bring back memories to you as well:
A Night at the Ball Park:
Had a great night
with over 40,000 on Johnny Bench bobble head night. Neat to be there with family and neat to
relax and watch a game. Giants were
killers this night and beat the Reds.
But little Emil had fun though, especially posing for this picture:
