Yeah, it is a week ahead of time but this
holiday has become a big thing.
Celebrating a vanishing commodity (laborers) and marking the unofficial
ending of the Summer break. I truly hope that you have a wonderful time with
family and friends.

Non-Rev
First Class?
Well,
what do you know. I actually got a
non-rev 1st class seat on a domestic flight. As you all well know that the number of
status frequent flyers with free upgrades and even paid upgrades all stand in
line for the 1st class seats before us non-revs. Domestically it is nearly impossible to see
that benefit again. Now, if you fly
internationally for a number of reasons that possibility continues to exist for
non-rev biz class treatment. It’s the domestic
side that is the real challenge. So for
the most part never count on it and simply hope to get better than a center
coach seat. It isn’t like it used to be,
planes are running extraordinarily high load factors. So where was my flight to? Well, it was a 1 hour leg from SLC-LAS so you
guessed it, I had to be fast on getting my free beverages. Ha Ha.
