For Info only on rail travel in france
I recently booked French rail tickets online directly
through the Fench web site www.sncf.com
No doubt others have done so too.
The web site is very easy to use and complete.
Note: when you log on to it a pop up will give you the
option of direct booking with SNCF or Rail Europe.
By compatring the same train, time and, date
on SNCF and comparing the Rail Europe fare was 35% higher.
Needless to say which one I booked
