Each year The Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Navy League and The Association of Naval Aviation (ANA) sponsor an Aviation Ground Training Course for young people on a path to aviation careers. It is a one week in residence course which trains young people to pass the FAA Written for Private Pilot. (For more click on the attachment below.)

Dave: I attach a form addressed to Delta Pilots, active and retired asking for volunteers to teach at the Aviation Ground Training Course sponsored by the Naval Sea Cadets. This year it will be held at Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville Ga, the week of July 27- August 2nd. It is an ideal facility for the course.
We already have a number of students registered for the course, some CAP cadets, Scouts, JROTC members. The course is highly structured, great discipline and students made aware that misconduct sends them home. The students come to learn and that makes instructing very rewarding.
Judge Colby is retired from the District Court, Alexandria Va. He is a retired Brigadier General, Army Reserves, former Region Commander CAP among many other accomplishments. He has dedicated his life to working with youth in aviation. This is his program which he developed and managed for so many years. Those who come to learn or teach will enjoy and benefit.
We request the form be distributed to Delta pilots, active and retired. If you need additional information or have questions please call. You may add my phone numbers to the posting. Thank you,
