Memorial Day. All are invited.
The
annual Logan Statue Memorial Day ceremony in Grant Park--900 S Michigan
Ave--will start at 1100 sharp, Monday 26 May, and
last about 50 minutes. I will be the featured speaker, and my
friend, Lou Matjasko, a 1963 grad of the AFA and I will be laying a
wreaths. General Logan, as you recall, was the founder of
Decoration/Memorial Day so the occasion is most appropriate. Retired AF Major
General John Borling, a 6 1/2 year POW, is making the arrangements.
