Travel / Non Revving - HL 174 (1)

From: Dick Deeds

Subject: ZED fares on other airlines ... 76 carriers now electronic tkting

ZED/Zonal Employee Discount fare tickets...there are even more airlines with electronic ticketing agreements now ... see list below.  Electronic ZED fares may only be purchased thru TravelNet and myIDTravel section once you have signed in to Deltanet.

(If your desired carrier is still on a paper ticket basis, myIDTravel allows you to list which gives you a fare quote and generates a DL record locator making it easier for the Delta ticket counter folks to ticket.  Present this itinerary printout to the counter and all they need do is swipe our credit card.)

Clicking on the Other Airline Index will give you detailed information on ZED fare ticket validity, dress codes, infants traveling and much more.  Thank you and hope this helps!

Leisure Travel on Other Airlines

Delta employees can take advantage of interline agreements that provide space available travel at a reduced rate on more than 100 other airlines from around the world.

Interline agreements vary by airline- most airlines offer Zonal Employee Discount fares, others offer "industry discount/ID" tickets with discounts between 75 and 96 percent or service charge passes/tickets. As airlines gradually migrate to electronic ticketing, their ticketing procedures will change - always review the latest policy prior to travel.

How to travel on Other Airlines (OAL)

1.       Check OAL Travel Eligibility to see which pass riders are eligible for interline reduced-rate travel.

2.       Review the Other Airline Index to get specific details on how to fly on your airline of choice - including how to purchase interline tickets, how to list on flights, how to check availability and how to refund unused OAL tickets.

3.       Once you find your airline, follow these steps to buy a ticket:

Type of Agreement How to Buy

eZED                       Purchase online through myIDTravel
