It’s
All About Lost NON-Qualified Benefits!!!! Some 100 or so Delta Execs know from
personal experience what we are talking about.
Those that stayed, though, have ALL received a replacement plan and have
completely healed. We Delta Retired
Pilots lost all ongoing non-qualified benefits with NO way to make it up with
any replacement plan from the company or by any other means.
Historical actions on non-qualified
benefits may give some further insight:

Subject: NON QUALIFIED LUMPS TO DELTA EXEC'S
07-20-2013
ATTACHED IS A LIST
OF APPROXIMATELY 33 DELTA EXEC'S WHO WERE AWARDED A NON-QUALIFIED RETIREMENT
BENEFIT WHILE THEY WERE STILL WORKING AT DELTA. BECAUSE IT WAS NON-QUALIFIED,
TAXES WERE DUE. DELTA PAID THE TAXES.
THIS MAY HAVE BEEN THE FIRST
STEP IN CANCELING THE NON-QUALIFIED PLAN FOR EVERYONE. LEO KNEW HE WOULD HAVE
TO DO SOMETHING THAT WOULD CARRY THE VOTE SO HE COULD GET HIS. MOST OF THESE
PEOPLE WERE GONE WITHIN A YEAR OR TWO. NOT LIFERS LIKE US.
SO THEY HAD THEIR
NON-QUALIFIED LUMP W/ DELTA PAYING ALL THE TAXES PLUS THEY ARE RECEIVING 100%
OF THEIR MONTHLY QUALIFIED CHECK. LIFE IS GOOD WHEN YOU CAN MAKE THE
RULES!
THIS IS THE LIST THAT
DREW A LETTER FROM DAVE GARRETT AND ABOUT 40 OTHER RETIRED COMPANY OFFICERS;
ESSENTIALLY SAYING, "SHAME ON YOU!"
BANKSTERS! PREVEWS OF
COMING ATTRACTIONS!
I'M GOING TO BED PRAYING
THAT MR. ANDERSON WILL DEMONSTATE HIS BRILLIANT LEADERSHIP BY MAKING
THINGS RIGHT WITH US.
BEST,
LARRY

Phase
I - Complete: (Goal - to get a better solution for
our lost Non-Qualified benefits)
Since our petition has been completed and delivered, there
has and continues to be a lot of work done behind the scenes to secure our
goal. We have set a goal of gaining a
meeting with management that leads to improved results for our group. That goal is being sought diligently and with
persistence. I can report that some good
things are happening and like I have mentioned before, I hope to be revealing
some more informative news shortly. Mark
The Petition
has been compiled and delivered to our targets but it will remain open for anyone to read, see and sign. Feel free to point or visit the site:
There WAS an unfair injustice! Some have asked for some proof of
the harm that DAL Retired Pilots incurred so click here to see it
