Since I know
you have a very inquisitive mind and seemingly are always seeking to 'broaden
your horizons' - - please see the link below. C.A. Drake and I flew
on the same crew in the Navy, then when he got out he flew for TWA. He
and I have remained in communications contact every since. This link
pertains to the TWA flight #800, which crashed shortly after takeoff from JFK
in July 1996. I was about 1/2 way across the Atlantic when it happened -
- going from LAX to FRA (Frankfurt). Initially we suspected a bomb
had been placed on the aircraft. I NEVER DID believe the stupid concocted
story put out by our Gov't as to the alleged real cause. Read this link
