Phase I - Complete:

 

Subject: the effort

The “effort” isn't stalled, stagnate, or in the gutter, what-so-ever. In fact the pressure to win a meeting is proceeding along mostly as expected. We are (and will remain) persistently in contact with the DAL leadership with a meeting request. In addition, we have always felt that recruiting aides would be a good idea. So we have targeted some "heavy hitters" to support our cause, and low and behold, we are making progress on that front. You and I are not members of the same clubs as Richard. That is where heavy hitters come in. Our heavy hitters presumably can get some attention. If our cause won't go away then neither will our "effort".

 

As we see it, there are 3 main goals from an initial sit down meeting with DAL leadership.

 

Meeting TOP 3 Goals

 

1. Far Exceeded - by anyone's analysis the harm brought upon the 3500 far exceeded anyone's rosier estimates. This number is not widely known. We wish to make certain it is known. Instead of 10-20% losses predicted, this group experienced 30 to near 50% losses.

 

2. Positive PR - like the Spirit of Delta, that brought the company millions of $$ (Whit Hawkins estimated $300,000,000) of free positive PR, a corporation that cares for a slighted group (like the 3500) can do the same. Our remedy can be a win win.  A major positive PR fallout for the company could be achieved while remedying a serious problem.

 

Action Steps:

3. Exec Board Committee - We are asking for a small handpicked committee to research,  analyze and make recommendations to the leadership within a short prescribed period of time.  And leadership to take up this recommendation to act on it.

1. There WAS an unfair injustice! Some have asked for some proof of

2. Will this work? Capt Moser is using the petition as the first step
in a multi faceted strategy to gain a meeting to discuss these
issues. Admittedly it is a long shot. Since the cause is just and
doing right is always good, why not give him our support?
