Mark;
Just received the latest High Life and came across a couple of items that may need modifying-
1. Under Hangar flying, I sent a link to Flight Aware. That same submission was also supposed to have a link to Operation Red Flag. Thought I had included the direct link to the Red Flag video, but maybe not. Here it is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=awCaMVI-6yU
2. Under Good/Bad Deals there is mention of a 75% discount at Fed Ex. While this is essentially true it appears to NOT cover all their rates ,at least not at my local office. Evidently it will not be applied to their cheapest rate-Fed Ex Ground. See excerpt feom the applicability page below. Highlights are mine

Subject: ID Card?
Someone mentioned a "Retired Delta ID Card" Is there
such a thing? I retired in 1997 and never was offered a card. I have often
thought it would be nice to have some sort of proof I was there How do I get
one?
Blessings to you,
Buff
Editor:
Buff, I mentioned the ID card in HL 158 and yes I do have one. I also know that there are many within our
net that could care less and aren’t interested in one in the least. However, when you are trying to get your
FedEx , McCormick & Schmidt’s, Verizon or hotel discounts, it comes in
pretty handy. See Paul’s info
immediately below:

Subject: Seat
belt commercial. What a great imagination
Hi Mark,
This is a good one to remind us to use seat belts. From the UK.

Dave
Seat belt commercial.
What a great imagination
Without a single word, this says it all
This is the new "wear your
seatbelt" ad the UK is doing - started by some dude not hired to do
it, but because the cause is important to him, he came up with this idea, and
now it's being hailed across the world as a "beautiful" commercial.
...And now the video has become
so popular with the general public that people are forwarding it to
friends/family on their own so quickly that it has spread all over the world in
a very short time.
Check out this remarkable ad:
