Hello Carol,
Sadly read your notifications concerning Jerry Belford, Tem
Hager and Bob Delair. I flew with these fellows as a new hire 727 flight
engineer when hired at Republic Airlines in 1985. They were excellent pilots,
wonderful men and fine mentors for a new, wet behind the ears kid who wanted to
fly. I'll miss them all.
Thanks,
Rand Peck

because this is exactly why we put in the time to post notices on those who
have flown west. Many we have known have
made a very lasting impression on us and some wish to let that be known to
family and friends and to share their sympathies.

Subject: Petition
for redress of inequitable contract Termination
May I humbly suggest to my
fellow pilots that they refrain from suggesting that Richard Anderson is
hypocritical in his trying to emulate C.E. Woolman in his attempt to rebuild
the airline to what it was. He seems to be doing a good job.He was not to blame
for what befell those of us who devoted our lives to trying to carry on C.E'S
legacy
Toward the end of our careers we had bad management who
lined their own pockets and an M.E.C. that threw us under the bus to advance
their own agendas
I suggest that those who started the petition consult with
Will Buergey , our D.P.3 Chairman. Will has devoted 5 years of his life
correcting monstrous inequities to the pilot group with P.B.G.C. Had he been
the M.E.C. CHAIR at the time of bankrupcy, I am sure we would have fared better
I would also suggest that the petition be sent to the DELTA
BOARD OF DIRECTORS, they control what Mr Anderson does.
He has done a remarkable job bringing Delta back from the
brink and will seek to reinstate Mr Woolman's ideals and business model

Editor: The petition packet will be
sent to Directors as well as our Senior Executives.
