Well, yes, there have been some challenges. I suspect there will be a few more going
forward but slowly and surely we are working together to iron out this new
format. I am happy about a lot of new
features that were not available to us before, but I also realize there are
things that can be tweaked for better service.
Hang in there, we’ll get it better as we go. For anybody who is not viewing the High Life
on the Blog in a legible readable way, please consider under IE8 visit TOOLs
and click on “compatibility view”. Another help may be updating your browsers Java plug in when asked or trying another
browser completely like Firefox.
Bevy
of hacked emails from members sending out spam to all including PCN:
Occasionally,
(and more frequently lately) I get an
email from a member like the one following
the “auto” message from the PCN as follows:
From: "Mark Sztanyo"
<mark@pilotcommunication.net
To: <bodie@epbfi.com
Sent: Monday, May 07, 2012 2:33 PM
Subject: Your Message Received - OK
Your message has been received
by the PCN.
Any required action will be done
ASAP.
Thank you!

I did not send a message
Bob
Editor: Yep, Bob did not send a
message, but anytime you get an auto response from the PCN rest assured your
EMAIL ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED and it (your account) did send a message. The auto response goes out to anyone sending
something in to the PCN. Frankly, a ton
of our membership has had troubles with their emails getting hacked. I have attached a link to help you gain back
control. I could list names of email
account owners that are continual spammers, but I would rather you take back
control of your created email accounts to either fix or delete them. Many of you are having your good name
attached to internet crapola.

account problems:

Sunday
Reflections:
Yesterday, I arrived in ATL at concourse
E and heading to baggage claim then off to layover hotel. Today, hours from pick up for our go, I am
sitting off Camp Creek Pkwy and listening to Sunday music and watching the
gentle rain out the window. A flood of
memories pour through my mind as it certainly reminds me of the ole days,
working for the D. We will depart out of
E and our crossing will land in Ireland, very familiar territory.
This second career was going along quite
swimmingly until a recent email bumping me back to FO. Not sure how long that this new twist will
last or what my response will be quite yet, but not too happy about the roll
back. It seems like the only real thing
for certain in this small company game is that not much is for certain.
Well, I will suck it up, cart my laptop
along, have a little patience and see what tomorrow will bring.
