Sorry
for the HL delay. As I write this I was slammed last night by
now am by the pool in Jamaica and believe me the WX is fine. So thanks for cutting me a little slack on getting
this issue out. Last nite just didn’t have the time.
Chrome
and possibly Safari Users (and maybe
others): Re-Directed to
HULU. Well, I think I tracked
JP’s problem down and removed it (deleted HULU ad) Hope it takes care of it for all.
Mark,

Life Blog gets redirected while loading
When I was trying to go back and reread previous PCN
Blogs, the Blog started loading normally, but was redirected to
"hulu.com" along with a message "the page you are looking for
does not exist" along with the "404" error message. This has
happened both Saturday and Sunday and it happened with 125,124 and 123. Those
are the only ones I checked. I was able to open them using the google link. I
don't know if any one else has had this problem, so it might just be something
on my computer. Thanks for providing all this information.

Hi Mark,
I just tried to log on to the blog
as you asked, and it worked fine. I tried 123, 124 and 125. They all loaded as
they had before Saturday. Whatever you did seems to have worked. I am not sure
how you do it all being on the road again, but we really appreciate it.

PCN’s
Big Tent:
Once in a while I get a comment or two
about very little interest in posts concerning someone’s death or post from an
airline that was formerly not Delta. The
PCN has been designed to serve the Delta Community. As all have become aware, that community has
grown. The PCN serves those pilots, families and former airline communities NOW
inside the Delta community and as such an illness or a death notice may be
passed along about someone who never actually wore the widget. Two things about that. First, those now served by the PCN may be
interested in these notices. Secondly,
the aviation community is much smaller than we sometimes think. Many times those who served another airline
for an even an entire career are still friends with some within the PCN
community. When we get a death or
illness notice about those who have flown west, we try our best to serve our community and pass it
along. As always you can disregard the
notice based on the subject line, or if one doesn’t want them at all, you can
block that particular PCN email address and still get other notices delivered
from the PCN.
Welcome
to new members:
We are slowly inching our way up to and
nearing 3,000 subscribers of active subscribers. Our list is continually updated and kept
current as to subscribers and new email address. A couple of things. I want to thank you when you join, for giving
me some contact info. That info is used
to compare a signup request and keep our list pure, in that scammers and non-eligible
members are blocked. I take a little
pride in that the system in place is both current and extremely restricted to
eligible members only. Because of that I
am confident that our notices go out only to those intended all the while
helping to protect the privacy of our group members.
As to any new member who joins, I would encourage a
brief look at our ABOUT page
and also our FAQs page as this
will give a good background and catch you up on what we are about.
