Human Interest - HL 125 (1)

Subject: for newsletter

Mark,

You and others may have read of the soldier who recently lost both arms, one above the elbow and one below, and both legs above the knees in Afghanistan.

A website has been set up to follow his progress and his amazing spirit. You can also send donations to help him, his wife and 7-month-old daughter with the expenses that they will incur that are not covered. It's available on this website:

He turned 25 while in the hospital. He is believed to be just the fourth quadruple loss of limb in military to survive his injuries. Another survivor is Marine Cpl. Todd Nicely who amazingly has just started driving again. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/26/todd-nicely_n_908018.html Doesn't that say something about the spirit of our American military? Letting them know that we will be there is part of the healing spirit. No gift is too small and words of encouragement and prayers don't cost a thing and reap immeasurable benefits.

Please keep supporting our troops. We need them and they need us.

Jean Marie Cinotto
